Pushed in all directions is a large black, gold and white original abstract painting with hints of pastel pink featuring a base layer of pure white. The white base on this large painting is very bitty, if you look closely you will see patches of shapes and scuffs meaning there is more to this piece than first meets the eye. The style in which I painted this piece very much points towards the legendary artist Jackson Pollock. This painting is done is a messy splatter style and drip painting technique is used throughout the piece.
This is one of those abstract paintings that sends the eye wondering all across the canvas, twisting and turning from black to gold into pink into white again. The drip painting technique creates amazing organic shapes and markings that otherwise would not be achieved. Simple colours and tones done in a certain way can create a mysterious and engaging piece of wall art.
