“Misery loves company” is a very rich original abstract painting that is full of depth and borders along various spectrums of colours and tones. This abstract piece has street art vibes, very funky, popping bright colours and maybe most obviously is the use of black spray paint in the centre.
The base colour is a vibrant bright pink acrylic paint with some red flashes peeking through. Onto this base, I layered an island of white flashes while a deeper more dark tonal blue cuts through. The blue and red drips offer a graffiti feel alongside the black spray-painted swirl.
The details of this piece of abstract art are beautiful and offer a fun and happy feeling. Look close enough and you can even see the very fine black spray spatter which the can spits out as I Painted the black line details down the centre of this large acrylic canvas painting. The red,pink and blue paint colours compliment each other well in this piece, it’s an unusual piece of abstract art and this is part of it’s beauty.
